Hi there! My name’s Vince George, and I’m a public servant, former teacher, and community advocate running for Congress to advocate for working class West Virginians. For too long, our communities' needs have been ignored. Minimum wage has stayed at $8.75. Jobs have disappeared. Hospitals are closing. And more families are struggling to put food on the table.

For the past century, it hasn’t mattered which party went to D.C. to represent West Virginians. Democrat or Republican, the people of our state have rarely benefited. This is a union state built on the backs of working-class people. And instead of lifting them up, our elected officials keep ignoring their needs. ​

It’s time to dream bigger, work together, and finally make our state a better place for the everyday people who built it. Every West Virginian deserves lower costs, more
economic opportunity, and a fair shot at the American Dream. Our current congressional delegation isn’t working to make that possible.
​Every single one of them voted for massive cuts to SNAP, Medicaid, Medicare and veterans’ benefits—including Carol Miller, who I’m running to unseat. The biggest cuts will take effect right after this year's election, and the harm they'll cause will be felt for the next decade.
Aside from casting votes that hurt West Virginians, Carol Miller barely visits most of the 28 counties in her district. She’s also been unresponsive to constituents during her seven years as a U.S. House member. This behavior is inexcusable, and she doesn’t deserve another term serving the hardworking people of West Virginia.
